Definition
Insured person means any member of the holiday party named as an insured person on the booking form and is ordinarily resident in the United Kingdom.
You’re Cover
Repayment of deposits, advance payments and contractual charges should the insured have to cancel their holiday due to.
- Death, injury, illness pregnancy (commencing after the date of booking), compulsory quarantine, witness call, jury service, unemployment due to redundancy after the booking date and before the commencement of the holiday.
- Fire, storm, flood, subsidence or malicious damage making the insured’s home uninhabitable.
- Cancelled leave orders in respect of the UK police and military personal.
Excluding
- Inability of the insured to reach the specified holiday destination due to adverse weather conditions, road closure.
- Failure of public or private transport.
- Suicide, attempted suicide, insanity, influence of alcohol or drugs.
Claim Conditions
- The insured must give notice as soon as possible of any loss damage or occurrence which may result in a claim.
- The insured must provide all information and evidence which may reasonably be requested at no expenses.

Damage Waiver Insurance
A non returnable charge of £40 protects you from any liability for accidental damage to the boat or its equipment. This compulsory insurance premium will be shown on your booking confirmation and is payable along with the balance of hire.
Exclusions to damage waiver
- Speeding reported or witnessed.
- Malicious, negligent or intentional damage to the boat, its equipment, the waterway, other boats or structures.
- Damage to the rudder etc, due to cill damage in locks.
- Return of the boat late or in an unclean condition.
